Powerworms Project Management Meeting was Held with Partners.

We discussed the project activity plan, “PowerWORMS Educational Requirements Analysis (ERA)” work package outputs and "PowerWORMS Educational ToolBox Development (ETOD)" work package implementation schedule details.

The PowerWORMS Educational ToolBox is considered the leading innovation of our project founded on two pillars the PowerWORMS Application Software and the Bio-composting and Vermicomposting Classroom - Manual & Guidelines for Educators.
The software application will be developed in android platform and will be freely accessible by everyone that has a mobile device. Mobile learning (m-learning) is a part of e-learning environment that allows learners to continue learning outside the classroom, drives the learners to understand the concepts better as they make the learning activities part and parcel of their lives. M-learning has been characterized to be the most prevalent educational methodology both for young learner and adults. The application will be accessible anywhere and anytime which is very important for farmers that work most of their time outdoor environment and at the same time can be accessed from anywhere and anytime. Moreover it encourages students to learn and actively involved particularly when it combines learning and playing.
The intelligent algorithm of the program will schedule the maintenance work necessary for the effective ecosystem operational controls and will assist inexperience use to proactively react providing on time with practical advice according to each individual case.
